Microsoft Innovative Teachers Awards, 2010

Now in its sixth year, the Innovative Teachers Forum brings together the world's most creative educators from more than 64 countries to celebrate and share best practices, showcase innovative classroom projects, and learn about new technologies that are helping to transform the learning process.

The event focuses on the role technology can play in addressing classroom challenges, enhancing teaching practices and inspiring teachers everywhere to seek and apply innovative approaches that help prepare students for today's changing world. An annual awards ceremony recognizes outstanding, innovative teachers from around the world.

The Microsoft Innovative Teachers Forum is in its third year in Nigeria. It creates a platform for the selection of best teachers to represent Nigeria at various events and conferences organized by Microsoft which provide educators with information on new and emerging technologies, resources for professional development and also a forum to network and share ideas.
